RGB Networks Finalist in Light Reading’s Leading Lights Awards

For Second Consecutive Year RGB Vies for ‘Top IPO or M&A Candidate’ Award

SUNNYVALE, CA – October 7, 2008 – RGB Networks, the leader in network video processing, has been named a finalist for the ‘Top IPO or M&A Candidate’ award in this year’s Leading Lights Awards, which are awarded by Light Reading, a respected and popular source for communications industry news. This is the company’s second consecutive nomination for the same award, which RGB won in 2007.

This year, RGB is one of six finalists in the ‘Top IPO or M&A Candidate’ category, which recognizes “…the private company that most clearly has the management, products, and financial stability to launch a successful IPO or be acquired on its own terms within the next 12 months,” according to Light Reading’s website.

“We’ve been executing on our goals since day one – delivering innovation to the market, making our customers successful and growing the value of the company,” said Jef Graham, CEO of RGB Networks. "Receiving a second nomination for the Leading Lights Awards – after winning it last year – demonstrates the continued strength of our products and positioning, as well as the commitment of the entire RGB team.”

Winners will be announced October 20 following the first day of Light Reading's Ethernet Expo in New York City. Light Reading established its Leading Lights Awards in 2004 to recognize the telecommunications industry’s top public and private companies and their executives for their outstanding achievements in the industry.
