RGB NETWORKS PROMOTES KEY EXECUTIVES STRENGTHENING LEADERSHIP AS COMPANY DEMONSTRATES STRONG GROWTH
Michael Lee and Ramin Farassat Promoted to Vice President
SAN MATEO, CA – December 6, 2005 – RGB Networks, the leader in network video processing, today announced the appointments of Michael Lee as Vice President of Manufacturing and Ramin Farassat as Vice President of Product Marketing. Lee previously served RGB Networks as the Senior Director of Operations, while Farassat held the position of Director of Product Marketing.
"Michael and Ramin's dedicated efforts have contributed directly to RGB’s recent success in the marketplace, highlighted by key deployments of equipment to top MSOs," said Adam S. Tom, co-founder, president and CEO of RGB Networks. "They have both executed on important challenges, delivering a product that satisfies immediate market needs for an intelligent digital simulcast solution and meeting strong delivery demands from our growing customer base. We will continue to rely on their knowledge and abilities as RGB prepares to launch several new video processing products over the coming year."
Stepping into his new role as Vice President of Manufacturing, Lee will continue to use his extensive knowledge of operations strategy to advance production of RGB's Simulcast Edge Processor (SEP) for digital simulcast environments, in addition to RGB’s new video processing products launching in 2006. Since joining RGB in 2004, Lee has overseen manufacturing and supply chain management from the SEP's inception to its current state of MSO testing.
As an expert in the convergence of data and broadcast networks, video services and network management, Farassat's direction in defining and marketing the SEP has positioned RGB as a leader in digital simulcast technology. Farassat will continue to build upon RGB’s success as the company expands its reach into new applications and markets, adding additional product lines over the next year.
